For 2020, the NEFLIN Leadership Interest Group has shared in a group read of the FLA One Book One State title, Dare to Lead by Brene Brown. For this meeting, we'll be reflecting on the past year and discussing overall takeaways from the book.

Interest Group Facilitator: Shannon Dew

Shannon Dew is the Director of Online Library Services at the Florida State College at Jacksonville. Her previous positions include; Associate Dean, Adjunct Faculty Librarian and Professor at FSCJ, Educational Media Specialist with the St. Johns County School District, and Senior Librarian and Branch Manager with the Jacksonville Public Library. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Arizona in Information Resources and Library Sciences. In her role, she participates in strategic planning of the Library and Learning Commons and has oversight of the Online Library Services which can include; management of the library web presence, database resources, and OER collaboration.

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only. Registration is strongly encouraged.
