ONLINE: April 16 Evening Workshop: Make your Android Smartphone Smarter with Don Frederiksen

This workshop will teach you key principles to be more effective with your Android smartphone. We will explore essential shortcuts for basic phone functions like silencing the ringer, using the camera and more. We will explore widgets for easy access to the information you find essential. And finally we will help with the "spring cleaning" of your home screen to keep it effective for you.

This is not an Android beginner session. This session is best for smartphone users who have experience making calls, sending texts and using the basic functions of their devices.

What to expect in this session.

This is a Shift Online Workshop where you will learn smartphone topics from the Senior Tech Club from the comfort of your home.

Class topics will be explored for one hour followed by a 30 minute question period.

Online Classroom approach: The presentation of topics and demonstrations will be conducted by Don using the Zoom platform for video conferencing.
