This 2 part webinar will provide an overview of the components of Systematic Instruction including task design and task analysis to prepare the trainer and to document progress and address concerns of safety and independent job performance, and the importance of accommodating learning style through individualized teaching strategies. Participants are encouraged, though not required, to attend both sessions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Historical Perspective: Need and purpose
  • Designing tasks to maximize learning and independence
  • Creating a task analysis to identify cues and steps
  • Utilizing a task analysis to track progress and document safety
