Wise Webinar A Day Series

SSA, Work, COVID-19: what we know and what we don’t know with Ray Cebula

Please join us on Monday, April 6th for our next webinar, SSA, Work, COVID-19: what we know and what we don’t know" with Ray Cebula.

COVID-19 has changed the world.  For those of us involved with SSA recipients receiving benefits based on disability, our change experiences necessarily involves our desire to provide current and correct information to our clients, whose worlds may be turning upside down.  What do we know today?  How will this be changed by the Stimulus Bill should one pass?  How will Washington State agencies react to the COVID-19 crisis and to the Stimulus Bill?  Finally, how do we best support our clients during this new world of the strange and unknown?

Learning Objectives (Info, tools, and skills attendees will receive):

  • What SSA’s shut down work load looks like; essential vs. non-essential.
  • What it means to receive “other cash benefits” as an SSI or SSDI recipient.
  • What steps Washington State has taken to help our client population.
  • What does the Stimulus Package mean to our clients and how will it impact their benefits.
  • What you can do.

* Please note - there are no refunds for those that do not attend the scheduled webinar. If you do miss the webinar, we will provide you with a code to access the next webinar free.
