This professional development workshop will provide an opportunity for professionals working with international students to better understand international student visas and the options available to international students once they have completed their studies.
The session will have a focus on Post Study Work Rights and changes to ‘regional status’ and new initiatives in Australia’s immigration strategy including the ‘Global Talent Program’.
Aside from gaining new knowledge, staff will also have a chance to build a network of like individuals from a variety of institutions which will sustain them in their professional positions.
If your institution has been adversely affected by COVID-19 crisis and you cannot get funding to attend a PD session, CISWA will support you with a 50% discounted $75 fee, or fee-free if your situation requires that level of support.
