OSHA 10-hour Training for Construction
This OSHA-authorized, voluntary 2-day training provides basic information on the common safety and health hazards in the construction industry.  Successful completion of this 2-day training will earn participants a valid OSHA 10-hour card.  The card will be sent following completion of the training to the mailing address on record.
Topics to be covered:
The following sections of OSHA 29 CFR sec 1926 will be covered..  A comprehensive reference manual will be provided to all course participants.  There is a nominal charge of $38 per person to cover training materials.  Credit cards are not accepted; payment by check only.
     *Introduction to OSHA
     *Subpart C - General Safety and Health Provisions
     *Subpart D - Occupational Health and Environmental Controls
     *Subpart E - Personal Protective and Life Saving Equipment
     *Hazardous Materials Communication (HazCom)
     *Subpart K - Electrical
     *Subpart L - Scaffolds
     *Subpart M - Fall Protection
     *Subpart X - Stairways and Ladders
Who should attend:
The OSHA 10-hour training is primarily intended for front-line construction workers, forepersons and supervisors.
Training Dates:  September 14 & 15, 2020 (2 full days, 9 am - 3 pm)
This classroom-based training is limited to the first 40 registrants.  It will be held over two days.
Recommendations for overnight accomodations are available for those traveling from out of town.  Participants must be fluent in English; for OSHA outreach training in Spanish; please consult OSHA online.
