QuickBooks II for Small Businesses Online Workshop REVISED INFORMATION

Desktop Version

SCORE Oxford Hills is pleased to offer this two-day QuickBooks workshop for small businesses in our community and beyond. This widely-used small business accounting software can help with your invoicing, tracking sales and exp
enses, and handling your bookkeeping requirements for tax preparation.

This course is designed to help users who have some QuickBooks experience to gain further insight into several areas of the software, including how to: Create a new QB company file or adjust an existing company file; setup fixed assets and track long term liabilities; adjust inventory; record typical journal entries and perform year-end closing functions.

The instructor will utilize the PC Windows Desktop Version (Accountant Edition) of the software to demonstrate these concepts, where students can follow along with their own computers. Students may also pose general questions about the software for the instructor and fellow students to discuss.
This is an excellent opportunity for students to benefit from networking
with other small businesses and learn how to become better acquainted with an existing QuickBooks installation.

This course is taught using the Desktop Quickbooks Pro.

Note:  Although this class will be presented online, the online version of QuickBooks software is very different and will not be covered in this workshop. Also, MAC edition software users are able to follow the lessons, but some of the screens are different and do not match the instructor's screens.
