In October 2019, North Dakota DVR launched their Customized Employment Policy.  This policy, makes individualized, community-based employment services available to individuals who previously did not have access.  

Knowing that the addition of new programs can come with a number of twists and turns, ND DVR and Minot State University, in partnership with WISE (www.gowise.org) will be launching a six-month Customized Employment Leadership Cohort focused on building agency capacity to implement and thrive in their new service offerings. This cohort will meet monthly and focus on current needs of the participating agencies. 

In the April 29th kick-off, facilitators from WISE will lead agencies through conversation and brainstorming sessions related to strategies and possible barriers.  In addition, agencies will have support to strategize, and identify next steps to implement and move Customized Employment forward in their communities.
