COVID-19 Information

OSDB remains committed to providing a safe environment for staff and students on our campuses. To ensure safety, OSDB has consulted with professionals at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Department of Education, Franklin County Public Health and Columbus Public Health to develop policies that would work best for the unique learning and residential environment at OSDB (policies linked below). Summer camps will include the wearing of masks by staff and students, social distancing of 6 feet or more when possible and regular handwashing and sanitizing along with other measures outlined in the OSDB policies to mitigate community spread of COVID-19. Any students not adhering to the OSDB policies may be subject to removal from summer camps. All staff and students are subject to OSDB’s Screening and Isolation Policy which can be viewed on the below link. This policy, along with the Frequently Asked Questions document, describes when students are unable to come to campus due to symptoms of COVID-19 or due to exposure to COVID-19.

All students will be required to undergo COVID testing upon arrival at our camps. Consent forms will need to be completed and returned to OSDB with Emergency Medical Forms to be considered for summer camps. Please see Testing Policy and Criteria on the OSDB websites (linked below) for more information.
