Free Online Medical Waste Disposal Roundtable
Please join us to share and discuss information about current take back programs for proper disposal of medical sharps and prescription drugs.
Provide digital images or files of any brochures, handouts, or data sets you may have regarding Medical Waste Disposal to bperham@nrra.net by Tuesday, May 26 , 2020 so we can include them in the presentation. We will make every effort to include materials that you bring to share on the day of the meeting as well.
This will be an interactive discussion that relies on your input to help address these important and timely issues.
We encourage, but by no means require, that all attendees access the meeting via a medium that allows for screen sharing, video and audio.
We will make every effort to accomodate all attendees. Phone calls welcomed!
Topics covered will include but not limited to:
- Current take-back programs
- Public education/outreach
- Resources and information gaps
- Challenges hidden in vaping
- Next steps and assistance required to implement new programs
- Information on COVID-19 and implications on safe disposal
Light refreshments are recommeded to maintain strength and endurance throughout the session.
