Remote Learning Essentials

 A Self-Paced, Online, Professional Development Opportunity

We’ve made it the last couple of months with remote learning!  Now what? What worked? What didn’t? Get ready to learn the essentials to move forward and grow with remote teaching and learning! This course will be broken down into separate modules to best support educators for the future of the classroom.  During this course, you will learn how to design and set up your class for online learning, tips, extensions, and add-ons for organization and workflow, lesson design and activities that are engaging for students and families (templates will be provided), plan for synchronous and asynchronous content delivery, assess students and provide meaningful feedback, and build community and a social connection with your class. 

1 Hour of Graduate Credit available through Kent State University for an additional fee.
