Summer Art Session 2 - Painting!  

During painting week, kids will learn how to mix and apply a variety paints and other media like ink, crayon, chalk pastel, and oil pastel as well as experiment with a variety of methods like pouring, splattering, and drizzling.  They will also learn how to transfer images, build up surfaces, add layers, and take away layers. 

Block-style summer art sessions are a restructure of our summer art camp program made to fit into a setting where fewer groups of students can be present at one time.  The sessions include 15 full hours of class time instruction on engaging visual art fundamentals.

*Recommended for ages 7-13 (Registration limited to 15 student capacity)

*MOMAC Summer Block-Style Art Sessions are designed to allow students to experiment with an array of artistic methods and mediums.  Both weeks are packed with fun right-brain activities and focus on an array of art media.
