How To Build a Sustainable, Profitable, and Fulfilling Business as a Speaker!

by Barry Banther

How can you build a profitable speaking business that includes consulting, training or coaching?  How can you develop clients that use you monthly for years?  Even decades?  These questions will be answered with clear practical steps you can take immediately to grow additional income for your speaking business.

Our speaker is Barry Banther, Chairman Elect of NSA National, who has seen his business grow year-after-year for over 20 years. Barry has positioned himself as an expert who is called upon daily to speak, advise, or coach. During our Chapter meeting, he will share is client grid that has allowed him and his team to build recurring monthly income for over two decades.

BIO for Barry Banther

Barry Banther has been an NSA member since 1998. He has held every elected position at the Chapter level, and this summer when he is sworn in at Influences as the Chairman of the Board of NSA, he will have held every position nationally. More importantly Barry brings over four decades of experience as a leader. He served in the administration of three Florida Governors as their appointee to oversee the regulation of all Private Higher Education. He was elected to three back-to-back terms as Chairman of the Florida State Board of Independent Colleges and Universities.

He is the founder and CEO of two professional service firms delivering speaking, training, and consulting across America. This body of work has earned Barry the highest certification as a CSP, Certified Speaking Professional, and CMC, Certified Management Consultant.  He has also received broad public recognition including the All Pro Dad, Family Ambassador award from Family First, the home of the All Pro Dad program. In 2018 he and his wife received one of Florida’s highest awards for service to the community - The Jack and Ruth Eckerd Legacy Award.

His firm, Banther Consulting, is a family business. His oldest son David is the Managing Partner, and his daughter-in-law Ruth recently earned Partner status.  Barry and his wife Janice divide their time between Tarpon Springs, Florida, and Banner Elk, NC.  And if he has to share some unique trivia then here it is - he debuted on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville at the age of 11.
