How to Be a Community Activist During a Global Pandemic

The event will openn at 12:45 p.m. and at 1:00 p.m. the ZOOM class will begin.

Our presenter, Mr. Ernest Crim III is an award-winning educator, activist, author, public speaker, 'Divided We Fall' cast member, and author of 'Black History Saved My Live,' whose goal is to use his life experiences to inspire others to fight inustice, educate and empower themselves, and resolve conflicts appropriately. As a south side of Chicago native and child of Ernest Crim, Jr and Melody Crim, Ernest was molded into a person with a relentless spirit and commitment to service. His social awareness increased after he pursued and obtained justice when he and his wife were the targets of a hate crime that went viral in 2016. Since then, he has committed himself to speaking publicly about issues of social justice while also advocating for equitable legislative reform in the Chicago-area.
