Introduction to Performance Assessments
This is the first of two REL Appalachia webinars on selecting, enhancing, and implementing performance assessments. Facilitators will summarize evidence-based research related to using performance assessments and introduce participants to the Virginia Quality Criteria Review Tool for Performance Assessments. Participants will also hear about the materials developed by REL AP to use the Criteria Tool to support Virginia science teachers who administered their own performance assessments in the fall of 2019.
