Creating Resilience from Chaos: Who Do You Want to Be in Times of Crisis?

Target Audience: CAA and human services leaders and staff responsible for guiding and supporting organizations, teams, and/or customers

Fee: Community Action Agency staff/board member rate: $25.00. Non-CAA staff/board rate: $35

All around us we see chaos and crisis, grappling with systemic injustices while still in the midst of understanding and confronting an unprecedented global pandemic. In this unparalleled point in our lives, we are presented with a critical question: "Who do I want to be in times of crisis?" Yes, we are afraid. And, yes, it is still possible to lead others and ourselves with confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. We can learn to explore our feelings of being afraid and overwhelmed and develop greater resilience. This highly experiential online workshop is designed to help participants develop an increased sense of self-awareness that enables them to stay open-minded and curious, fully aware of their feelings in the moment, and able to take full responsibility for modeling leadership skills through the challenges of today and tomorrow.

As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Shift perspective from fear to growth and action
  • Find increased clarity and direction for greater impact as a professional and/or leader
  • Take responsibility for who you want to be when leading or supporting others

Presenters:

Deborah Linett, M.Ed. CPCC, ACC-Certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF) and Co-Active Training Institute (CATI) as a professional co-active coach.
