Support & Self-Care Measures for Peer Workers Facing Grief:
The Impact of Overdose, Suicide and Covid-19

Peer recovery workers are an under-recognized group of  ‘essential workers' in this challenging time of the Covid-19 Pandemic. As such, they face increased exposure to their personal stressors including direct and vicarious trauma experiences. This free webinar project will demonstrate appreciation for their efforts as well as provide helpful resources and support to balance caring for themselves and others in this unprecedented moment.

The webinar  will  be  followed by a series  of four Zoom meetings offering participants an opportunity to interact with group leaders on topics designed to personalize their own experiences (July 16, 23, August 6, 20).

 Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 1-2:30 PM
