COVID-19 Pandemic Conversation: Company Actions & Future Planning

TOPIC SUMMARY
Panel discussion regarding actions companies have or will be taking due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Participants will be able to submit questions or join in the conversation.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Participants will learn what actions their company should consider taking to reduce the risk of a COVID-19 outbreak in their company.

  • Participants will gain knowledge of local law changes as a result of COVID-19.

  • Participantst will understand what are commonly used technologies for video conferencing to enable effective "work from wherever" for co-workers.

Hope is responsible for operational performance, developing leaders and teams and overseeing process development. She is also responsible for strategic implementation, including the creation of the strategic plan, as well as setting and measuring quarterly and annual goals.

Hope’s experience, knowledge and business acumen are key to providing exemplary mechanical contracting and engineering services to our customers. Some of Hope’s Professional Affiliations / Memberships / Accreditations include: 

Secretary & Former President of the CFMA Northeastern Wisconsin Chapter, and National CFMA Committee Member; National CFMA Publications Advisory Committee Member; CCIFP & CPA designations; Member of both the WICPA and AICPA.

Hope earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh, and her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Accounting and Business from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.

Holly Lifke

Holly Lifke, Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President with The Boldt Company, is an experienced strategic leader in multiple industries including Construction, Commercial Insurance, Manufacturing and Banking Regulation. With 21+ years of experience in Human Resources and 7+ years leading operations, she understands the theory and application of strategic planning, growing organizational capacity, change management, talent management, top and bottom line growth, continuous improvement, market expansion, culture management and the challenges each represent. A passionate and enthusiastic team player, Holly blends compassion, agility, urgency and a drive for results.

Lifke received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and business administration from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh.

Adam Tegelman
Director of Operations
MCC, Inc.

Adam Tegelman is the Operations Director for MCC, Inc. and oversees safety, compliance, and human resources. He is a graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton and holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Policy from UWGB. 

He is active in a number of trade associations. He is past President and Board Member of the Aggregate Producers of Wisconsin, Board Member and Operations, Environmental & Safety Resource Chair for the Wisconsin Ready Mix Concrete Association, Member of the Legislative Committee of Association of Builders and Contractors, and Founding Member and Board Chairman of the Northeast Wisconsin Construction Alliance. He appreciates working and collaborating with individuals in the construction industry, fishing, any athletics-based activity, and sometimes just relaxing.

Dave Walsh
VP of Human Resources
Miron Construction Co. Inc.

Dave Walsh serves as the vice president, Human Resources for Miron. He brings more than 20 years of public sector experience in leadership and organizational development to this role, leading Miron’s commitment to ensuring that team members feel valued and engaged. Dave’s responsibilities include human resources, wellness, training, risk management and organizational development.

Active in the community, Dave serves on the Fox Valley Junior Achievement Board, is part of the Leadership Team for Fox Valley Voices of Men (a group committed to ending violence against women and girls) and is a leader in Waupaca County 4-H, serving as one of the Key Leaders in the Horse and Pony Project. With a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, Dave has significant interest in leadership development and teaches various leadership courses at Miron.
