Shabbat Services: 06/27/2020 

Registration to come in to the Beth Shalom building for Shabbat morning services, June 27. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed. No children under the age of 10 are permitted. Over the age of 10 are permitted in the Sanctuary and the bathrooms, but wandering the building will not be permitted.

You are asked not to attend if:

  • You have had a fever or have felt feverish in the last 14 days
  • You are having a shortness of breath or other difficulties breathing
  • You have a shortness of breath, cough, or sore throat
  • You experienced a recent loss of taste or smell
  • You have tested positive for COVID-19
  • You have been in contact with any confirmed COVID-19 positive individuals in the past two weeks, to the best of your knowledge

Vulnerable individuals, including those 65 or older and those with underlying medical conditions (as described by the CDC, https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/people-at-higher-risk.html) that are not well-controlled, are encouraged to consider virtual attendance.

New building rules will need to be observed, including:

  • Please enter at the main entrance (to the Palkovitz Lobby) or the rear parking lot entrance; Do not use the Shady Ave. entrance.
  • Temperature taking with thermal thermometers upon entrance
  • Mask wearing at all times
  • Physical distancing from one another of at least six feet
  • Distanced seating restrictions in the Sanctuary
  • Placement of prayer books, after use, onto the “Used Books” rack in the Sanctuary
  • No touching or kissing of ritual objects

It is also noted that drinking fountains have been shut off for the time being. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own water.
