2020 Weekend Retreat - October 2 - 4

Running an event during COVID times:

It is recognised this is a difficult time and we will stay in touch about any changes, or requirements which may come about due to COVID. We appreciate your patience in allowing us to make this a safe event for everyone and have the expectation that EVERYONE will be honest about their health situation leading up to this event.

Social distancing will be easy to practice in the crafting area as we will each have a 6ft (1.5m) trestle table.

As our indicative numbers are now above 30, we will also now have the venue to ourselves (YEAH!).

There may be some changes to meal times, and meal seating arrangements to comply with Government requirements. These will be communicated closer to the event time as they are clarified and known.

Our venue host, Chen Lu, will be on top of all government requirements, providing sanitiser, and giving us a briefing of how we will all play our part in making the weekend safe for everyone. 

 

WHAT HASN'T CHANGED...

Includes: 2 nights accommodation, meals Friday night, all day Saturday and breakfast and lunch Sunday, plus morning and afternoon teas and suppers. And, SURPRISES and GIFTS through the weekend!

NOTE:

• Lyrebird Park is in Yellingbo which is located a 1:20 Hr from Melbourne (1 hr 10 from Bentleigh East and 51 minutes from Narre Warren South). The last 5km is firm but dirt road.
• ALL BEDROOMS HAVE ENSUITES. 
• No kitchen duties are required (just scrape your plates and place on trays)
• GREAT ADULT FOOD MENU
• Carpeted bright heated Hall.

You will be told whether you have been assigned a single or double bed so you know what linen to bring. If you want to opt for the FULL BED LINEN HIRE this is an additional $49.50 per single bed set, $55 per double bed set and includes pillow, full linen set, doona, towel, bed making service, soap and shampoo. (THIS MAY CHANGE DUE TO COVID - I need to confirm)

What you need to bring: Your own bed linen & doona (or sleeping bag), pillow and towels. Toiletries. Comfortable clothes. Maybe a cushion for sitting on. Cropping supplies and photos! Bottle of wine to have with dinner?

Indulge yourself with a weekend of cropping. LYREBIRD PARK is the ideal venue for our weekend away. The bushland setting provides the perfect atmosphere for clear creative thinking and physical wellbeing. (Go for a bush walk if you can draw yourself away from your albums). Treat yourself and get your albums done!!

The Cabin sleeping accommodation is close to the cropping hall, (some rooms very close and others along a short path/driveway.) Each room has individual split systems. We have the SOLE USE of the WHOLE facility for the whole weekend.

CHEN LU, our host, will ensure our meals are hearty homestyle cooking. Please let me know of any special dietary requirements at time of booking. Ring me with any questions, and book it in your diary NOW! We will have lots of fun and good times – fresh air, new friends, creativity and LOTS of album pages done!!!

After you have completed the payment we will be back in touch with you closer to the event regarding Product Pre-ordering, your anticipated arrival time, and room sharing arrangements if you are part of a group.

PAYMENT OPTIONS and DETAILS

PLEASE NOTE: FULL REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN TO ANYONE HAVING TO CANCEL DUE TO COVID-19 (diagnosis or symptoms).

The base cost for everyone is $290 for the weekend.

Single rooms are an additional $44.

You can pay $90 deposit to secure your place, or pay the full fee up front. Balance of payments will be due by Sept 1st.

As many have already paid (deposit or full base payment), you must still register here to capture your room, seating and dietary requirements via this process and form.

After each person registers using this form, (within a week) I will review your balance, and issue a PAYPAL invoice via email, to confirm the balance, or completion of your payment.

It is important to let me know of any email details or phone numbers changing from the time of registering up until arriving at the event if we are to keep you up to date of any changes.
