Addressing Social Determinants of Health and Social Needs
Health outcomes on a population level are affected more by the communities we live in than access to health care. The social determinants of health like education, housing, food access and safety need to be considered and incorporated into care plans to address and improve mental health outcomes. In this workshop, discussion will include defining social determinants of health and social needs and how these impact mental health.
