Community members, First Responders, Healthcare and Human Services staff, Recovery Coaches


Learn how to administer Naloxone, the opioid/opiate overdose reversal antidote, and the knowledge you need to train others to do so. This 90-minute Train the Trainer event is a live virtual training with Ryan Fowler, Harm Reduction Coordinator at the HIV/HCV Resource Center based in Claremont NH. The session will conclude with an opportunity for Questions & Answers, facilitated by Jennifer Goulet, Community Health Worker/Recovery Coach Program Coordinator/Supervisor of North Country Health Consortium's (NCHC) Wellness And Recovery Model (WARM) and AskPETRA programs.


Following the training, participants will:

  • Understand what Naloxone is
  • Identify an Opioid/Opiate Overdose
  • Understand the necessary steps for handling an overdose
  • Properly administer Naloxone
  • Perform rescue breathing
  • Understand proper Naloxone storage
  • Know where to get Naloxone in Northern NH
  • Be able to train staff and clients on Naloxone administration
