Franchise Essentials: What You Need to Know to Consider Franchise Ownership

During this workshop, you'll learn: Entrepreneurship in today's COVID-19 environment - Is now the right time? The benefits of owning a franchise business. Top franchise industries and choices poised for growth. The real costs and financing options. Building equity in a business for retirement income. How to assess risk to make a safe and wise decision.

This workshop is for you if you find yourself asking:

  • Is now the time to consider a franchise?
  • Can I keep my job and open a business? How?
  • What are my viable options?
  • What is the realistic cost and time commitment?
  • How can owning a franchise help mitigate risk in business ownership?
  • How do I minimize my risk and optimize my chances for success?

Sara Waskow is the Franchise Owner of FranNet of Dallas/Ft. Worth; a locally owned and operated franchise consulting firm. Sara has 8 years’ experience in franchising including single and multi-unit franchises with extensive expertise in implementation of franchise systems, business operations, and regional/local marketing. In addition to her FranNet franchise, she is also the co-owner of a fitness franchise.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees.

All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX.

CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED to: Jenny Day at ch.admin0120@scorevolunteer.org. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
