Engaging and Motivating Staff through Re-Opening 

With Nancy Toso 


Explore how you can keep your staff motivated, invested, and engaged through creating a strengths-based, positive work environment, both physical and virtual. We will consider how to facilitate, foster, and support collaboration, teamwork and joy among staff so that they can develop and achieve goals for themselves and children.


Fees: $15 for Non MAAEYC members and $10 for Members

Certificates for in-service hours are available.

Lisa Porter Kuh, Ph.D. is the Director of Early Education for the city of Somerville, Massachusetts. She oversees preschool programming in the public schools and works with center-based and Head Start preschool programs to align quality practices and create a comprehensive mixed-delivery partnership, The Somerville Partnership for Young Children. She has over thirty years of classroom experience with young children and is also a teacher educator, currently at Lesley University and was an assistant professor at the University of New Hampshire, and a lecturer at Tufts University. Dr. Kuh is committed to supporting teachers, children, and families in providing quality places to learn, play, and grow. Dr. Kuh has published and presented on the impact of outdoor playspaces and classroom environments for young children, teacher professional development, documentation, Montessori education, antibias education, as well as literacy and math content.
