Please join us on Wednesday, August 5th for our webinar, Talk About Good Job Coaching" with Debra McLean.

This session will review visual structure techniques and include hands on practice for customizing instructions given individual learning styles. Please bring paper and a writing implement to this engaging webinar.

Learning Objectives (Info, tools, and skills attendees will receive):

  • Learn to customize instructions for the different learning styles of individuals we serve.

*Please note: Wise maintains registration and attendance records for our events and training programs. Attendees that fully participate in events and/or complete training programs will receive a certificate to document  full participation as back up for billing purposes.  Wise is required to monitor participation in our courses and provide reports to our funding sources so that they may utilize these records in the course of their audits of programs. These reports may include actual time spent by attendee name, event/training title, county and state. Reports are provided to ensure there is documented proof of the appropriate use of government funds for the purposes of professional development.

Debra McLean

    Debra Mclean is passionate about seeing all people with disabilities obtain employment. She has been intrigued with community building and person centered planning as a way to see individuals with  disabilities  succeed in jobs that fit them since 1981. She has worked for the University of Oregon and Oregon Health Sciences University on a number of projects involving people with disabilities and employment .She provides training and consultation on accessing employment and person centered planning in Washington and Oregon. For the last five years, she has taught classes in Job Development, job coaching   and Marketing as part of the Employment Professional Certificate at Highline Community College. She works with schools, families, agencies, businesses, and individuals, both in the US and in, Australia. She has completed a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling and Deafness. Western Oregon University 1981).
