SEMCME presents,

Preparing for Practice:
Transitioning from Training to Employment
Session 1: CVs, Searches, and Interviews
Wednesday August 26, 2020

Preparing for Practice is not a recruitment event – It’s a virtual educational program that will help trainees feel more comfortable with the process of finding their post training position and understanding employment agreements. The program will be offered virtually in a relaxed, informal environment with ample opportunities to ask questions. This fall, we are offering two sessions, giving residents the option to determine what topics might be of value to them depending on their timeline. These sessions will be repeated in the Spring of 2021.

Session 1: CV’s, Searches, and Interviews
Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM

For residents expected to graduate in 2021 or 2022 This session covers beginning your search for the right position, preparing for interviews, what to expect, where to look, questions to ask and developing your CV.

FEATURED SPEAKER:

Susan Sanford is an expert in healthcare workforce development, working in the field since 1994. She works within Trinity Health’s Office for Physician Recruitment, providing career development support for residents and fellows in training for all Trinity Health organizations. Here’s what people say about Susan’s presentation style:
