EDAS Covid Conversations #6

This is our sixth EDAS Covid Conversation; an opportunity for Scotland's economic development community to share different perspectives on the pandemic and in particular share experience and ideas for policy and practice.

“This town is coming like a ghost town
All the clubs have been closed down”

Ghost Town, The Specials, 1981

In the latest Fraser of Allander Scottish Economy articles, Visiting Researcher and Former RBS Head of Group Economics, Stephen Boyle, reflects on the words said to have been inspired by what The Specials saw in Glasgow.  Stephen joins us to discuss the future of commercial property and town centres, and a need for prompt action from those who shape our towns, cities and places.

Stephen will be joined by guest contributors from Scotland’s Towns Partnership, New River Real Estate Investment Trust, Scottish Futures Trust and Scottish Land Commission.
