Navigating Medicare 101

*This will be a live online workshop via Zoom* 

Navigating the ins and outs of Medicare planning can be a daunting task. If you are turning 65 or retiring soon, or advising someone else, this Medicare educational presentation by Michelle Feibus is helpful.

She will be addressing such topics as:

  • Who needs to sign up for Medicare?
  • How can penalties be avoided?
  • What are Parts A, B, C, D of Medicare?
  • What’s the difference between a Medicare Supplement and a Medicare Advantage plan?
  • Impact of HSA plan and Cobra with Medicare?

Michelle is known as “The Medicare Superwoman” for her knowledge and genuine interest in helping people navigate the complex world of Medicare.  Her advice through speaking engagements and personal one-on-one help have earned her a reputation as a trusted and valuable resource to her clients as well as financial and legal professionals throughout Texas. Ms. Feibus is an Austin based licensed sales agent whose goal is to clear up the confusion surrounding Medicare in order to provide people with peace of mind.

Cancellation Policy: 

If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees. 

All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX.  

CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO: Jenny Day at ch.admin0120@scorevolunteer.org. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
