How to Start Your Own Consulting Business

*This will be a live online workshop via Zoom* 

This consulting workshop is for people who would like to start a consulting business on their own. Listen to our SCORE Certified Instructor who has done this on their own and can help you with all the details of setting up a consulting business the right way.

With an extensive background on management consulting, my skills in marketing, sales, strategic planning, general management and market research have assisted companies in many industries at all stages, sizes and geographic locations.

My background includes extensive marketing and general management experience with Procter & Gamble, Clorox Company and Frito-Lay. For 30 years I managed and grew my own marketing consulting firm serving a large clientele of major US companies.. I am a past National Chair of the Institute of Management Consultants and have served as an adjunct professor of marketing at Southern Methodist University.

I have been an active volunteer and leader at Temple Emanu-El in Dallas, serve on the board of LIFT -Literacy Instruction for Texas, serve on management advisory boards for three private companies and have done pro-bono consulting for multiple non-profit organizations.

Cancellation Policy:  

If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees. 

All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX.  

CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO: Jenny Day at ch.admin0120@scorevolunteer.org. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
