Interrupting Racism for Our Children Workshop October 31-November 1, 2020

Interrupting Racism for Children is an impactful and extensive two-day workshop with topics that range from: Relationship between Poverty and Racism; Understanding Cultural Racism; Internalized Racial Superiority, Internalized Racial Oppression, just to name a few.

Interrupting Racism For Children Workshop participants will be expected to follow these COVID 19 Workshop Health and Safety Guidelines throughout the duration of the workshop:

  • Wearing a Personal Protection mask is mandatory and will be in force each day of the workshop, except when eating or drinking.
  • Mask will be available for participants who don’t provide their own.
  • Practice social distancing by staying 6 feet apart.
  • Wash hands often or use hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid touching your face or sharing personal items.
  • Use a tissue or cough in the sleeve.
  • Serve boxed lunches or prepackaged snacks.
  • Respect the socially distanced seating arrangements.
  • Any participants who has any of these symptoms – fever, shortness of breath, dry cough, etc. cannot attend a workshop until they have been symptom free for at least 72 hours AND at least 14 days have passed since they experienced having symptoms.
  • Any participants who have tested positive for COVID 19 or been exposed to others with COVID 19 or experience any COVID symptoms cannot attend the workshop until they have received  A negative COVID-19 test and have been symptom free for at least 72 hours and at least 14 days have passed since they experienced having symptoms.
  • Any participants or others who have traveled outside .the U.S. in the past 21 days cannot attend the workshop.
For persons unable to attend their registered workshop dates due to COVID-19 exposure, please contact us prior to the workshop and you will be rescheduled to a later date.
