An Introduction to Nonprofit Events
Whether your goal is to raise money or to build friendships, this webinar will provide an overview of approaches to creating events for nonprofits. The webinar will be conducted by Beth Chappelow, owner of Chappelow Events, and Alex Shapiro, Kansas City Symphony Director of Development. It will cover the various advantages and potential drawbacks to event fundraising. Topics will include: choosing the right event for your organization, strategies for successful planning and implementation, building realistic budgets, working with volunteers, common pitfalls to avoid, and constructive evaluation after the event.
