How to Engage Other Views in Today's Environment

As our nation grapples with issues on race, protests and activism have reached a fever pitch. Slogans such as "Silence is violence" and "I'm listening" seem to be at odds with one another, and conversations with those we might disagree with have felt more strained and challenging - or perhaps aren't happening at all for fear of misstepping.

Join us for this special FREE webinaron Wednesday, September 9, 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. to hear an honest and candid take on the problems we are facing regarding race, how we can all effectively engage with people with a different point of view, and how philanthropy can be helpful during this crucial time.

**All participants of the webinar will receive a copy of Irshad Manji's book, "Don't Label Me: How to Do Diversity Without Inflaming the Culture Wars."

Irshad Manji is the founder of Moral Courage College, which teaches people how to do the right thing in the face of fear. She is also the director of courage, curiosity, and character at Let Grow, a nonprofit promoting independence and resilience in kids. She is a Canadian educator and author of The Trouble with Islam Today (2004), Allah, Liberty, and Love (2011), and Don't Label Me (2019).
