Join us on Zoom to mingle with colleagues! You’ll be greeted “at the door” by Mediate BC staff who will help you move around between breakout rooms where you’ll connect with old friends and new.

We'll take a break and ask everyone to switch to a different Zoom link to hear a few words from our new Board Chair Julie Daum and watch the presentation of the Susanna Jani Award in Supporting Excellence in Mediation. Feel free to have a favourite beverage handy to salute the award recipient! After that, we will hear from our keynote speaker Angela Sterritt. 

We are honoured and very excited to have Angela join us and talk about the role of the neutral in a profession, self identification and how others see us in our various roles.  

About the Keynote Speaker

Angela Sterritt is an award-winning journalist, author of the forthcoming non-fiction book Unbroken, and a Visiting Professor at UBC School of Journalism. She is a proud member of the Gitxsan Nation.
