What Business Structure is Right for You? Startup and Franchising Workshop

*This will be a live online workshop via Zoom*

Do you dream of owning your own business but you just aren’t sure what your best option is? Should you start your own business, buy an existing business or buy a franchise? How can you leverage your skills and minimize your risk?

Join Ft. Worth SCORE and FranNet to learn more. Sara Waskow, a business start-up expert, will cover the 3 options for going into business, how to get from where you are to where you want to be, how to minimize risk, and the top 10 things to consider before starting your own business.

After the initial 1-hour workshop, Sara will conduct a workshop on a personalized business skills assessment that will help you discover what types of businesses are the best fit for you. To participate in this exercise, you will need to complete your assessment at least one day prior to the workshop. This business ownership assessment will help you evaluate your strengths as a potential business owner. Since business owners wear many hats, this is a great tool to measure your skills in fields you may not have experience in.

*Your results will be emailed prior to the workshop.
