Executive Function and ADHD: Establishing Positive Behaviors at Home
Webinar Pre-Recorded August 25, 2020
For Parents, Guardians, and Professionals
Dr. Mary Ann Mulcahey, Clinical Psychologist and Springer School & Center Program Coordinator, helps us learn about developing positive behaviors at home when a child has ADHD and Executive Function issues.
Executive Function (EF) skills, or skills that help us plan, execute, and complete everyday tasks, can be greatly weakened in children with ADHD.
This program addresses how to develop routines that support the development of EF skills and emphasizes practical strategies that you can begin using tomorrow!
Strategies to be addressed include:
- Giving effective directions
- Setting up a daily schedule
- Utilizing checklists
- Motivating your child
