Self Care
“Take my advice, I don’t use it”

October 7, 2020

10:00 am to 11:00 am

Presented by Channe Fodeman, LCSW

VIA ZOOMIn this short but focused workshop, participants will have an opportunity to define their own self-care and examine how their values and beliefs impact self-care.  What gets in the way of self-care for many of us?  How can we develop strategies for overcoming the challenges to achieving self-care?

Through discussion and some story telling Channe Fodeman, LCSW will present ideas for creating a plan and clarifying goals.  Channe has had a private counseling practice for over 30 years and specializes in life’s transitions and aging issues.  She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of California at Berkeley with a specialization in gerontology.  As a long-standing member of NASW/CT, Channe has helped to orchestrate the Fairfield County Private Practice Network meetings since 2010.
