Kathy Bazan is a Certified SCORE Mentor with expertise in social media and digital marketing. By writing vibrant content, she built a corporation’s Facebook community from 0 to over 9,500 Likes in 2 ½ years. For this same company, she honed her skills by writing eBlasts to potential and current customers which increased sales. For a men’s clothing shop, she wrote the eBlast which generated the most sales of any eBlast in the company’s 21 year history. It’s these skills that she teaches in this workshop.

This free SCORE webinar, the second of a 5 part Social Media series sponsored by FVRL Libraries, will provide you tips and tools to convert your internet community to “your tribe” who like, comment, share your content and, importantly, help you sell your product or service.
Blog posts, Landing pages, web pages! So, how do you effectively use and integrate these tools so the folks you like can find you? We’ll cover six keys that will improve your “hit” ratio. We’ll also discuss issues of copyright, use of photos, colors, themes, domain name and all that goes into good website design.
And we’re not done yet: you’ll learn about headers, website slideshows. where to find the bar (the navigation bar, the menu bar, etc.) and “killer” headlines! With all of this under your wing, you’ll be able to determine if you’re ready to build your own website or contract the work out – and we’ll give you the pros and cons of each approach.
