Do you have questions about the IEP? Every child who receives special education services must have an individual Education Plan. This workshop takes parents step-by-step through the development of the IEP, including:
- The importance of including parent/student concerns and vision
- Understanding goals, benchmarks and objectives - what should be included?
- Relationship of the Team members
- Adaptations to the process relative to COVID-19
This free community training is presented by Educational Advocate Nancy Farnsworth, whose expertise is in developing IEPs for students with autism.
This will be a Zoom meeting and registration is required. When you register, you will have an opportunity to submit questions for the presenter. You will also be able to ask questions via the chat feature during the Zoom meeting. The conversation will be recorded to send to participants after the meeting.
