The Center is a formal training environment for civilians and professionals alike. All students are asked to follow our dress code which consists of attire that is typically found in a professional office environment; T-shirts, tank tops, torn jeans, shorts or sandals are not appropriate in class.

There is a required lab for each instrument that the officer must attend to get their Type II certification. Labs are held the week following the supervisor course.

LABS: * EC/IR II - Monday     *AS-IV - Tuesday   *DMT & 8000 - Wednesday

**Please provide your TYPE 3 PERMIT NUMBER in the COMMENTS box and select the breath instrument type used by your department. **

We encourage you to bring a USB thumb drive (8 gig is recommended) because you will be offered additional training materials which will make Type 3 training easier for you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Missouri Safety Center has been notified that POST will soon be implementing a new policy requiring all Missouri certified law enforcement officers attending POST credit training courses to provide their individual POST ISSUED LICENSE NUMBER for tracking purposes. In preparation for this upcoming requirement in addition to providing your birth date and last 4-digits of your social security number, we will be requesting that you also be prepared to provide your POST ISSUED LICENSE NUMBER on the first day of class.
