Looking for an activity to liven up your virtual TAG meetings? Interested in running a trivia contest for your virtual tween and teen programming but not sure how? Join us for the next Teen Interest Group meeting and participate in an epic Geek Battle. Compete with your colleagues to see who will claim the title of Ultimate Youth Librarian of North Florida! As time allows, we'll close by reviewing favorite sources for trivia questions and open the floor for sharing programming success stories under Covid since we last met online.

Interest Group Facilitator: Jennifer Parker

Entering my 33rd year of dedicated service in the field of Library Science as of October 1, 2019. Committed to making a difference in my local community through my professional and private life.

Jennifer Parker is the Branch Manager of the Green Cove Springs Library, a small urban facility in North Florida. She has been developing and implementing programs for children, teens and adults since 1988. Since the 1990’s, Jennifer has served as an event planner for several educational, non-profit organizations. She has been an active lecturer on art appreciation, a weaving instructor/demonstrator, and a teacher of origami for more than 20 years. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL.

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only. Registration is strongly encouraged.
