Fix My Site: A One Hour Bootcamp for Small Businesses
Many small businesses quickly created a website after the COVID-19 lockdowns, and many of those business owners are unsure about the look, feel, or performance of their website. This 1 hour Bootcamp will walk business owners through seven common, challenging areas and give them actionable steps to fix potential problems.
Fixes require minimum technical knowledge and often apply to any of the most popular website platforms available, from WordPress to Shopify, Wix to Squarespace.
Attendees are invited to submit their website for possible review during the Q&A section.
This Bootcamp is provided in partnership with the Small Business Administration's SCORE division. Attendees are encouraged to reach out to SCORE for mentoring support from their fantastic network of volunteer executives.
Instructor: Rob McClinton
Rob McClinton is the CEO of Small World Communications, dedicated to helping small and local businesses get online and grow, essentially functioning as a client’s back office tech team. He is a veteran of the tech industry with roots in several startups, most of which focused on business-to-business products and services.
Rob's career started with building and leading sales organizations before moving into executive management, management coaching and then entrepreneurship. He's passionate about helping people and organizations set and achieve their goals. As a Chicago Bears fan, Rob lives by the eternally optimistic motto: "There's always next year."
