Outsourcing Your Accounting

Are you in the process of defining or reviewing your accounting strategy? Curious about outsourced accounting? Join Chris McKee of Venturity Financial Partners as he steps you through the process of choosing the best accounting approach for your business in this workshop. Chris will cover the importance of taking the time to understand the current role of your accounting function, as well as its strengths and weaknesses. He will help you understand how to decide when it makes sense to outsource your accounting vs. when it makes sense to keep it in-house. You will learn about the variations of outsourced accounting out there, what each entails and how to implement. Chris McKee, Founder of Venturity Financial Partners, started the company in 2001 after holding accounting leadership roles with several different organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth business community.The firm grew out of a perceived need among small and growing companies for an alternative to a traditional in-house Controller. Chris earned his Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippiin 1989. He has been active with and served on the board of several non-profit organizations, including the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas, Education is Freedom and as Board President for the Dallas chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO).

Cancellation Policy: 

If you need to cancel you must notify us via email 7 days prior to the workshop date. A confirmation of your cancellation will be sent once it is received. Calling the SCORE Fort Worth office is not acceptable for a cancellation notice. All no-shows or cancellations after 7 days will lose their paid workshop fees.

All workshop fees must be paid in advance prior to workshop date. For security purposes we will not be able to accept payment for workshops at the door unless workshop is being held at James E. Guinn complex in Fort Worth, TX.  

CANCELLATION NOTICES MUST BE IN WRITING AND EMAILED TO: Jenny Day at ch.admin0120@scorevolunteer.org. Any other means of cancellation will not be accepted.
