Stand Up for Beginner and Intermediate Comics with Troy Bond

We teach you how to take your own life experiences, memories and observations and turn them into a stand-up comedy set. Our classes are taught by veteran pro NYC comedians. And our classes are small and taught in a supportive workshop environment. Our motto is “learn by doing.” So we will encourage you to present some of your ideas in each class. You will also get an insiders guide to the business of comedy from the booker of a major NYC club. We will celebrate graduation with a live comedy show, held at a major comedy club in New York City. (You will also receive a free video of your set.)

YOUR INSTRUCTOR: TROY BOND is one of the fastest rising stars in the New York comedy scene. He can be seen nightly at Gotham Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, The Comic Strip Live and Broadway Comedy Club. He has also established himself as one of the best MC’s in New York City and was recently named as the top MC at Broadway Comedy Club. At the age of 16 Troy started seriously writing jokes because he knew he wanted to be a comedian. Life changed the summer before his senior year in High School, Bond appeared in a quick improv interview from the audience of the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. That small quirky video went viral which gave him the confidence to pack up his bags the day he graduated high school and move to New York City elevating his career to a new level. The summer after his senior year, he became one of the youngest comics to ever win a performing residency at NYC’s famous beginner showcase, The Industry Room. Soon he became in demand as a comedian, host, podcaster and actor. Troy’s talents have taken him from the comedy clubs to the small screen, where he has been seen on Hulu, Netflix, and NBC and host of the Trivia Game Show, Reward the Fan.
