SOUTH COOK TEACHER RESIDENCY PROGRAM

SIGN UP FOR MORE INFORMATION!

Classes begin in Summer 2021.

In collaboration with the South Cook Intermediate Service Center (SCISC), Roosevelt University is launching a new South Cook Teacher Residency Program. The new program will provide employees in 10 school districts served by the SCISC with a pathway to teacher licensure and an MA degree in elementary education.

To receive more information about the new residency program, including how to attend a virtual information session, please click on the button below and submit the form. In addition to submitting the form, you should forward any unofficial undergraduate transcripts that you have to Laura Lag, Assistant Dean for Graduate Admission, at llag@roosevelt.edu.

Upon receipt of your unofficial transcripts, Roosevelt will determine if any content courses will be required to earn licensure. Employees who need to complete content courses will be provided with information about how to enroll in community college courses during the Winter 2021 semester.

PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS BY DEC. 15, 2020 TO FACILITATE ENROLLMENT IN WINTER 2021 COURSES.

The teacher residency program is only open to individuals who have completed an undergraduate degree. In order to be considered for the program, all interested employees also must complete an application for admission to Roosevelt University as a graduate student in elementary education by the deadline of April 1, 2021.

For more information, contact Laura Lag, Assistant Dean for Graduate Admission, at llag@roosevelt.edu.
