Organizational Culture During a Pandemic: We're going to be F.I.N.E.!

Employee stress and burnout has been at the forefront during the COVID-19 crisis. Noted management consultant and trainer Becky Lunders is an expert in helping managers and employees cope with workplace change and stress at any time, and her expertise has never been more in demand than during the coronavirus pandemic. CalAPA has made special arrangements for her to offer her insights on maintaining a healthy workplace culture during the COVID-19 public health emergency. This webinar will be offered free to CalAPA members and agency personnel (there is a nominal charge for non-members) in the interest of recognizing the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and mental health during this pandemic.

The title of her presentation is: "Organizational Culture: We’re Going to be F.I.N.E.!" A description of the content is as follows:

A winning workplace culture has always been the goal. We want to enjoy going to work, feel our work has
meaning, and know what we do matters. And then a pandemic hits. We abruptly find ourselves working
remotely, navigating Zoom calls, dealing with family pressures, and trying to feel connected while apart. In this session, titled "Organizational Culture: We’re Going to be F.I.N.E.!" Becky Lunders discusses companies and organizations that are thriving (and not just surviving) and have embraced this unprecedented opportunity to:

  • Be FLEXIBLE. in the way we manage, engage, and provide support
  • Be INTENTIONAL in the way we build relationships, listen and interact
  • Be NIMBLE because change is the only constant
  • Be ENTHUSIASTIC because energy is contagious so why not bring people up instead of dragging them down

This interactive training session is designed to inspire managers and employees  to action as they reconsider how they engage with their team. The presentation will include "live" polls of attendees, and ample time for Q&A. It serves as an introduction to a half-day, site-specific virtual workshop facilitated by Becky Lunders to help teams put the F.I.N.E. concept into action. More information about teamWorks is HERE
