Behavioral Health System Baltimore's 2020 Annual Gathering - Our Humanity: Supporting Communities with Equity and Intention - will take place virtually on Wednesday, December 9th from 9:00 am - 10:30 am. 
How do we support our communities with equity and intention? We will discuss this important question with local mental health experts and faith leaders. 
Our Humanity will feature a panel discussion with:
  • Andrea BrownExecutive Director of the Black Mental Health Alliance - Andrea has dedicated her career to advancing equity in the non-profit sector and supporting the health and well-being of Black people and communities.
  • Bishop Kevin Daniels, PhDProfessor at Morgan State University - Dr. Kevin Daniels is a Baltimore native, Bishop and professor at Morgan State University. He strives to increase understanding of the impact of behavioral health in Baltimore .
  • Reverend Bryce JonesMinister of Urban Affairs and Political and Community Outreach, New Friendship Baptist Church - Rev. Bryce Jones supports the health and wellbeing of his community through faith leadership and community outreach
The panel will be moderated by Denise Wheatley Rowe, BHSB's Vice President of Accountability.
Although the evet is free and open to the public, we encourage participants to register. Registered participants will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions and engage with speakers in other ways. There will also be a special thank you for behavioral health providers who continue to serve our  community during the COVID-19 crisis.
