Please come to discuss powerful and meaningful ways to produce ASL interpretation of legal language. We will work with souce texts from legal settings and produce, analyze and discuss the meaning and effective translations into ASL. This workshop will be offered in ASL. Earn .35 Legal plus .15 Legal CEUs for prep, for a total of .5 CEUs!

Please be sure you qualify for this workshop - it is an advance level training. (Participation is limited to interpreters with experience and/or training in legal settings)

This workshop will be conducted in ASL. Participants will discuss effective approaches to analyzing and translating legal language; share effective strategies for creating equivalent meaning in ASL; incorporate concepts and solutions to translation challenges.
