NW Family Business Advisors presents a panel discussion on transitioning a family member into health care and fiduciary management.

PANELISTS:

Kris Kirwan, earned her degree in Social Work & Psychology from the Utah State University in 1993. Kris has worked in the Medical, Home Care, and Home Health field for over 15 years. Kris has served as a Care Manager for 2 years with Fedelta, and stepped into the role of Community Sales Director in February of 2020 just as the community landscape dramatically changed with the pandemic. Today, Kris coordinates home care assessments with the client and the Care Manager, and takes pride in her natural abilities to advocate for seniors, their families, and those who serve them.

Michael J. Longyear, with Reed Longyear Malnati Ahrens, PLLC, has over 25 years of experience helping clients make important decisions regarding their personal and estate planning, guardianship proceedings and elder law issues. Michael is currently a member of the Executive Committee and Co-Chair of the CLE Committee for the Washington State Bar Association’s Elder Law section, and Past-Chair of the Elder Law Section. Michael has been recognized for his experience in the area of guardianship and served on the Washington Supreme Court Certified Professional Guardian Board from 2001 to 2008.

Adrienne Miller, is the Chief Care Officer of Forever Care Services. Adrienne provides the highest level of integrity and professionalism in assisting families as they transfer a senior family member into assisted living housing placement. Adrienne started Forever Care Services, a Senior Housing Referral Agency, in 2016. Adrienne’s role is to reduce the overwhelming options in Senior Housing to what is the best fit for each person needing to reside in Adult Family Homes, Assisted Living or Memory Care communities.

 

MODERATOR:

 Pam Stone,  joined Family Resource Home Care in 2007 as the Regional Manager of Business Development. She is dedicated to building partnerships of trust with health care, legal, and financial professional providers to help ensure the quality of life for their patients and clients.
