"We are excited to announce that Genentech’s world-class biomedical research organization is launching a new rotation program. As our organization grows, program and portfolio management continues to evolve. We need leaders eager to learn about our industry, with the talent and capability to adapt to change. The Portfolio Rotation Program (PRP) is the only rotation program in pharmaceuticals for program and portfolio management, and it’s how we’re discovering and fostering that next generation of drug development professionals.
Senior graduate students (MS or PhD in STEM-related fields), as well as postdocs and other advanced degree applicants (MBA, MD, PharmD) are eligible to apply. We’re looking for talent eager to learn how business and science can be combined in the drug development process to ultimately deliver innovative medicines to patients.

Throughout this two-year program, PRP participants will take on tailored assignments, earning hands-on exposure to meaningful projects. That includes evaluating business strategies and options, developing program management expertise and supporting world-class science. PRP participants will be embedded with teams across the drug development life cycle: early preclinical development, Phase 1 to 3 clinical trials and preparation for commercial launch."
