Icicle Series Overview
THREE, TWO, ONE - GO! Bundle up and enjoy outdoor activities this month! Put your weekend into high gear and come over to South Coast Sailing Adventures and join us for the Winter Day Sails! During the day sail, we will be participating in an informal race on Galveston Bay. These informal races are a part of the "Icicle Race Series". Participating in these informal races will help sharpen your sail trimming skills and gain valuable sailing experience in a causal and stress-free environment. The Icicle Series is open to sailors of all ages and experience levels.
2021 Dates
January 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
Schedule
10:30 a.m. Check-in at SCSA
11:00 a.m. Depart the marina
11:41 a.m. - 12:20 p.m. Race start times (depending on the boat's PHRF rating)
Approx. 3:30 p.m. Return to marina, secure and clean boats.
*After the race join us on the patio. Please bring your favorite appetizer or side dish to share! BYOB.
Pricing
Public: $75 per race
Club Member: $60 per race
Full series special price (Public): $300
Full series special price (Club Member): $240
*Add a berth to your reservation and spend the night aboard one of our boats! Available for either the night before the race, the night of the race, or both! $75 per person, per night. Bring your own bedding.
